Sanskrit Classes @ Ramakrishna Mutt by Samskrita Bharati

Here comes some great news and an opportunity to learn Sanskrit, the most ancient and mother of all languages. Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai is joining hands with Samskrita Bharati for offering six-month-long courses(2 levels) in Sanskrit, the divine language. Classes will be conducted from 7.15 PM to 8.15 PM starting March 2.

The objective of the course is to speak in Sanskrit and understand the basic shlokas and to be able to read and understand the greatest epics of our country – Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita and other similar texts. I was fortunate and enjoyed the Samskrita Shibiram classes conducted by SB some years ago at Nanganallur Parimala Mantapa and these sessions were the turning point for many in our group.
