Hare Srinivasa,

Sri Mahabharata Tatparya Nirnaya grantha by Jagad Guru Sriman Madhwacharyaru is considered as the Magnum Opus grantha among the Sarvamoola Granthas. Acharya Madhwaru has analysed in detail and given the tatparya behind many events and happenings in the epics in this grantha and helped us understand the real and right reason for those. Sri Madhwwa’s MBTN is unparalleled work on the Indian epics in general and on Mahabharata in particular.

MBTN capsules all the concepts of Dwaitha thought in such a majestic and mature style that a student, after completing his study of MBTN not only discovers the secret treasures in Sri Vyasa’s epics but also becomes a follower of Dwaitha philosophy by its merit. MBTN gives the quintessence of Bharateeya Vedanta and prompts that the great Sri Vedavyasa’s epics are not mere stories but they are the treasures of Adhyatmic concepts and symbols which automatically help to reach the goal of eternal and pure bliss.

Chrompet Sridharan

Way back in the year 2003, renowned Madhwa Scholar Chrompet Sri R Sridharan started a mammoth task of bringing this work of Acharyaru(with more than 5200 shlokas) in Tamil by releasing the First volume covering initial 3 chapters of MBTN. Since then we have come a long way and with the blessings of Sri Hari Vayu Gurugalu, the Final Volume(11th part) by the author is getting released by the Amrutha Hastha of Sri Sri Satyatma Teertha Swamiji of Sri Uttaradi Mutt on 13-Oct-15 @ 5 PM @ Chrompet Sri Raghavendra Swmay Mutt.

MBTN 11

Needless to add that our Madhwa Community in Tamilnadu(who cannot read Sanskrit or Kannada) are immensely benefited by the author’s Tamil translation effort and we are very much indebted to Mr. Sridharan and Chrompet Sri Madhwa Seva Charitable Trust. Let us pray supreme lord Sri Narayana for his choicest blessings to Sri Sridharan and grace him to continue his journey and bring many more such great treasures in Tamil in the larger interest.
