Varkala Yathra – Sep 2018

Here is an announcement from Madhwa Dakshina Yathra regarding their trip in September to Thothadri, Trivandrum and Varkala. Devotees are requested to make use of this opportunity.

Madhwa dakshina yathra has arranged a 3 days trip from 16.9.2018 to 18.09.2018 to visit Nava Thirupathy, Thothadri Srinivasa, Trivandrum Sri Ananthapadmanabha  Swamy and Varkala Janardhana(both the places are in Kerala). Besides temple visits arrangements have been made for performing kshethravidhi in the sacred places like  thothadri and varkala, by taking achars and madhwa cooks along with us. Interested persons are requested to contact R.Gopalakrishna in 7708157378, on or before 10.05.2018 as the train reservation has to be done before 4 months.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has started a new website having thousands of ebooks in English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. There books on various subjects such as Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Itihasas, Sahitya, Agama, etc. There are some good books in e-Library of TTD. You may find many useful books in your language of interest and subject of interest. You may freely download the books of your interest.

SAPTHAGIRI Magazine from TTD now available Online

The Sapthagiri magazine was started as a TTD bulletin in 1949. It is now being circulated all over the country as an illustrated, religious magazine, released monthly, in Six languages – Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English. The objective of the magazine is to propagate religious thoughts, nurture spiritual ideals and develop bhakti and positive thinking among the people. Sapthagiri contains articles on Hindu philosophy and culture.

Along with these, this magazine also provides various updates and notes on TTD’s Various Programs, new schemes/arrangements on Darshan, Accommodation and other facilities in Tirumala.  In addition every issue will have some beautiful pictures of Lord Sri Venkateswara as well.
