Herein I have captured few links on the Great Gurugalu who is Paramaguru of Sri Rayaru. First comes the intro video on Kumbakonam Sri Mutt.

Ekadashi – Vichaara and Aachaara

Hare Srinivasa,

“Neither thousands of Ashwamedha sacrifices nor hundreds of Vajapeya sacrifices are equivalent to even one sixteenth the merits of fasting on an Ekadashi”

………….Acharya Madhwaru on Ekadasi in Sri Krishnamrutha Maharnava

Today is the most auspicious Ekadasi dina. This vratha is the holiest and very important among all vrathas and a MUST DO for all between 8 and 80 years. The central theme of Ekadasi fast is to feel a profound mystical experience in which the soul feels the nearness of God by various ritual acts.

Sri Madhwacharyaru in his work ‘Krishnamrutha Maharnava’ established beyond doubt that only after the practice of such a Vratha that our other activities bear fruit. One needs to keep in mind that no matter how many oppathu you do and all homa, pooja and parayana will be in vain, if one doesn’t follow Ekadasi anushtana as said by our Acharyaru.

Please click on the below link to read the contents from the booklet on Ekadasi Vratha published by K K Nagar Sri Madhwacharya Seva Sangha.
