Ekadasi Days in VILAMBI Samvatsara

Hare Srinivasa!

We have the auspicious VILAMBI Samvatsara started and the Panchanga is in your hands. While many of you may be checking for our Gurugala Aradhana dates and other important days in the coming new year, please find the EKADASI Dates below. We have heard repeatedly in the Pravachanas, that how important the Ekadasi vrata is and it would not help if one does any other anushtana like Pooja, Homa, Parayana and not strictly adhering to Ekadasi upavasa. Let us all do the Ekadasi like our Gurugalu has asked us to do.

Today is the most auspicious Gita Jayanthi. On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Lord Sri Krishna through Arjuna has given the Eternal Message to the world that is suitable and relevant at all times. You can see this sacred text(entire Gita) being carved on the walls of Sri Geeta Mandir near Udupi Sri Krishna Temple.
