Ekadasi Days in Vijaya Samvatsara

Hare Srinivasa,

As the new Vijaya Nama Samvatsara is fast approaching, it is time for us to be aware of the important days and events in the coming year. First let us have a look at the very important vratha, the Ekadasi, the king of all vrathas. As you are all aware right from our Vishwa Guru Shriman Madhwacharyaru onwards up to Mantralaya Prabhu Sri Rayaru, everyone has emphasized enough on this great anushtana. Our Madhwaru has dedicated around 60+ shlokas exclusively on Ekadasi mahima in His grantha Krishnamrutha Maharnava. Let us all be ever alert on this and for us, Sri Krishnamrutha Maharnava is the last word on Ekadasi. Anything / anyone that differs even a bit from SKM, let us shun it at once, and pray Sri Hari Vayu Gurugalu to bless us to observe this holy and sacred vratha as our Acharya Madhwaru has said in Sri Krishnamrutha Maharnava.

Please click on the below link for the list of Ekadasi days in Vijaya Samvatsara. Like last year, this year too, we have Three Ekadasi’s in a month during September on 1st, 15th and 30th of the month.
